The Public Gallery West Bromwich

Loathe it or love it, and we haven’t made our minds up yet, The Public Gallery in West Bromwich opens today.

Why should you visit it soon? Well for a start it’s free. In fact, for the next month, the gallery is free if you book in advance.

Not all the exhibits are working yet and there was still the sound of hammering and banging late yesterday but there are lots of free activities and entertainment this weekend.

If only to see the inside of the building which is pretty impressive, it’s worth a visit.

An application has been received to open a new take away in Market Place. To view the location click here. You can send in your comments here.

By now, you should have received the new Holly Bush Telegraph newsletter through your door. If you are here to take part in the online consultation on road parking, then please look at this earlier post about the residents parking survey.

You can see a pdf version of the newsletter here: Holly Bush Telegraph

Victorians never did thisYou’ve come to this site because you’ve received the newsletter through your door and you want to make a difference to the road that we live on.

You may be worried about parking in Hollies Drive in particular. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one.

How can you help?

Firstly, take the residents parking survey. A hard copy was put through your door but it would be much easier if you could fill out the survey online.

Secondly, join the online residents email group. It’s a way that as neighbours we can keep each other informed about events going and share concerns about our area.

Hello and welcome to the Holly Bush Telegraph. Why the name? Well, we have a drive called ‘Hollies” and I have a hugh Holly Bush in the back garden. If you can think of a better name, let me know.

This site is set up so that local residents in Hollies Drive, Brunswick Terrace and Squires Walk can keep in touch with local goings-on in our area.

I’ve also set up an email group for us to keep in touch. If you click on the “visit this group’ section of the google groups link at the top left hand of this page, you’ll be able to sign up for the ocassional email about local events and issues.
